About Game

     Dead Letter Office is a point-and-click story about sorting through Republika's dead letters, reassigning names, and learning about the tales of people who are living under two nations at war.

Mechanics

     Drag-and-drop documents to move them around. Press [Tab] to open and read lettser. Click on various objects around the screen in order to check the accuracy of the letters.

Author's Notes

     As of now, Dead Letter Office is a prototype build. I have only worked on Day 1 out of 8 Days. Moreover, it is a passion project, and I intend to release it free on itch.io and Steam. 

     You may also notice that I am (heavily) inspired by games such as Papers, Please and Unsolicited, both by Lucas Pope. That's because I've set out to make a Papers, Please clone (hence why this game will be free), as I wanted to learn more as a dev by (closely) studying other works. Still, if there are elements that can be improved on or mechanics to be revised, all feedback is appreciated! This is, after all, a way for me to learn.
